An exhibition showcasing artifacts from Abydos, Egypt

Interacting with Abydos is an exhbition designed in collaboration between four ITP students and Matthew Adams, a Senior Research Scholar at the Institute of Fine Arts and co-director of the North Abydos Expedition in Egypt. The exhibition leverages innovative photogrammetry technology being used by the archeology team to create interactive experiences that shed light on what life was like in the ancient city of Abydos.

The exhibiton is designed with both physical and digital components. Photographic renderings illustrate the RFID Artifact Station on the table and the Sliding Excavation Site against the wall. An interactive web experience built with Unity provides a digital representation of these two main exhibition stations.
